On Tuesday, 4 November 2008, the 6th Coordinating Committee (CC) meeting of the CCOE has been held for the first time in the new location in Enschede. The CC consists of representatives of the Ministries of Defense from the respective sponsoring nations. In addition, representatives from SHAPE, HQ SACT and US Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (US A CAPOC) were present. The delegation of the committee arrived on Monday evening and joined for a welcome reception with the Director and the Branch Chiefs of the CCOE. On Tuesday morning, the meeting started with topics like a common update of the situation, review and approval of the program of work for 2009, the financial approval of the budget 2009, and the status of the relocation to Enschede. One of the main topics was the approach on how to attract additional nations to join the CCOE. The event was closed with a dinner in the evening, where the chairmanship of the CC was handed over from Denmark to Germany.
