New CCOE publication: The Advanced Cultural Competence Model

The Advanced Cultural Competence (ACC) Model is the gate to CCOE's "... makes sense" publication series.
The ACC model provides:
� Clarity of thinking about culture in an operational setting
� Comprehension by covering all aspects of culture and stringent conclusions on each element
� Support to define priorities in the cultural setting of an operational area

CCOE successfully implemented the new NATO CIMIC Education & Individual Training (E&IT) landscape and conducted all new courses for the first iteration. You'll find a short summary on each course and the general feedback.

The CFC (cimicweb) provides an overview on thematic AFG reports, sorted by different sectors. Additionally, you`ll find information on the 2011 Bonn conference. Both sites don`t require any password.

The CCOE info leaflet has been revised, according to our new course landscape. The current version can be read online on the left pane of CCOE`s homepage and is available for download in a PDF version as well.

All tuition fees for our new courses of the NATO CIMIC/CMI E&IT landscape have been set. The course descriptions have been updated, the download brochure CCOE Course Landscape has been revised as well.

Extended registration period for the NCFWC and NCSWC!

Contrary to the admin instructions in the Student Info Guide for new courses, registration for the NATO CIMIC Field Worker and Staff Worker Course (NCFWC/NCSWC) will be open until 07 October 2011!

Registration for the NCHCC is open until 23 Sep!

Contrary to the admin instructions in the Student Info Guide for new courses , registration for the NATO CIMIC/CMI Higher Command Course will be open until 23 September 2011!

The new student info guide for our new courses is available for download. All administrative issues to allow a smooth participation in one of our courses are decsribed in a comprehensive manner. The current version is still valid, but will be totally replaced by the new one latest by the end of 2011.

Based on recommendations of the NATO CIMIC Community of Interest, CCOE revised, adjusted and developed new courses. Current courses will be ceased mainly by the end of 2011 and will be replaced by courses with a new curriculum.
