NATO ISAF PRT CIMIC COURSE in Hungary

10 October – 14 October 2011

Aim

The aim of the course is to provide students with a thorough understanding of the definition, aim, components, main tasks, functions and organization of Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) within the framework of Provincial Reconstruction Team in tactical level. After getting up-to-date, mission-oriented training in CIMIC work, students will be able to carry out CIMIC-related duties in NATO ISAF operations.

Course date

10 (Monday) October to 14 (Friday) October 2011.
Arrival is scheduled for 9 October (Sunday).

Personal qualification

Citizenship: NATO, ISAF Troop Contributing Nation
Rank: preferably from sergeant to lieutenant-colonel
Language requirement: English STANAG 3.3.3.2
Security clearance: NATO unclassified and releasable
Visa: to be checked by the applicant

The NATO ISAF PRT CIMIC Course (NIPCC) is organised by the Hungarian Defence Forces Civil-Military Cooperation and Psychological Operations Centre (HDF CMCPOC) with the cooperation of the NATO Civil-Military Cooperation Centre of Excellence, The Netherlands.
