CCOE certified the NATO CIMIC FIELD AND STAFF WORKERS COURSE in Poland

The course had been held at The Military Training Centre for Foreign Operations (MTC) in Kielce in Poland. Two weeks course started on 2nd June and lasted till 13 June. It was the third iteration of the CIMIC course which was NATO accredited.

The course had been held at The Military Training Centre for Foreign Operations (MTC) in Kielce in Poland. Two weeks course started on 2nd June and lasted till 13 June. It was the third iteration of the CIMIC course which was NATO accredited.

That time CCOE’s role was to advice only and asses if the course curriculum was respected and the NATO criteria have been met. The CCOE team was watching the entire process including familiarization phase that took place prior the course. Polish MTC invited 5 syndicate coaches from USA, Canada, and Czech Republic. The first time the course in Poland was supported by two Go4It game masters from Dutch CMI Command.

The student body was formed of 30 students (Poland – 20, USA – 2, Ukraine – 2, Georgia – 2, Azerbaijan – 2, Italy – 2). The span of range went from OF 1z to OF 5. Added value was given by civil students representing academia and NGOs national and international. The learning environment was creating in a way of giving the mission flavour to the students. The class rooms and syndicate rooms were located at the mission’s camp area. Another challenge come from the weather with the temperature close to 30 degrees Celsius.

The course was visited by CCOE DDIR who as the Department Head on CIMIC solemnly gave the NATO Certificates to the students.
