Following CCOE´s motto CONNECTING PEOPLE, the United Nations Humanitarian Civil-Military Coordination (UN-CMCoord) course will be conducted at the CCOE from 21 till 26 October 2018. The course will be residential, with approximately 24 participants comprising of a diverse group of experienced men and women currently working in the Europe region.

This aim of the course is to promote appropriate and effective humanitarian civil-military interactions in humanitarian emergencies through bolstered knowledge and understanding of UN-CMCoord standards and principles and adherence to them. This includes the use of military and civil defense assets to better support the humanitarian community in delivering urgently needed goods and services to affected communities and people-in-need.
