For the upcoming 3 years the Common Effort Community – coming from government, civil society, the military and private sector – will focus on the Sahel G5 region (Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger). The aim is to develop comprehensive, whole-of-society, approaches towards new opportunities and sustainable solutions for development and resolution of conflict.
During Common Effort 2019 we
aim to lay the groundwork for this approach with a selection of topics and
themes that are pertinent for development and stability of the Sahel G5 region.
Together with partners from the Sahel G5, we are looking forward to a
fascinating week of deepening our insights and integrating our diverse
perspectives. You are only a few steps away
