Gaining a first-hand perspective into crisis relief from the Military side.

Welcome this unique introduction event at the Centre for Civil-Military Cooperation (CCOE), The Hague.

It is specifically designed to address civilian IO, NGO, institutional and humanitarian staffers. Within just over two hours (plus food and beverage option) on June 29th 2017, we will provide you with a comprehensive overview into the multifaceted role of today’s service personnel in international relief and stabilization operations. Afterwards there are will be drinks and Indonesian food for all.

In today’s international situations, the timely interaction between civil and military stakeholders is key to understand each other’s’ objectives and limitations.  In the majority of international crisis situations, international humanitarian and development organizations, as well as military forces are present, sharing the same operating environment.

To further this mutual understanding, the CCOE invites representatives from all  organization located in The Hague area, active in international humanitarian aid,  development, and related issues to this “get-to- know-your neighbor event”.  The program features short presentations and video clips on the key scope of activity of CIMIC and the CCOE.

Location: Brasserskade 227a, 2497NX, The Hague, just outside of Delft. Parking onsite available. The CCOE is easy reachable by Tram 1, well as by car (just of A 13 exit Delft Noord)
