Directorate

The two framework nations of the CCOE, Germany and The Netherlands, provide the personnel in the command function of the agency. Their posts are not nationally flagged in a fixed way but rotate within the two nations in a three year cycles.

Since September 25th, 2025, the post of the Director (DIR) has been manned by the Dutch Colonel Henk Paape.

Since September 25, 2025, German Colonel (GS) Thorsten Schwiering has held the post of Deputy Director (DDIR) and Chief of Staff.
