NATO CIMIC Field Worker Course
About:
The NATO CIMIC Field Worker Course prepares officers and non-commissioned officers for CIMIC work at NATO’s tactical level in peacetime, crisis and conflict. It is also open to civilian colleagues and others who work with, or have an interest in, CIMIC. Students learn how military activity affects civilians and how civilian factors can shape operations. They practise working with non-military actors, communicating across cultures, negotiating, reporting and advising their higher echelon. Lessons and a practical scenario give students the chance to apply what they learn in a multinational setting, with support from experienced instructors and subject-matter experts.
