Intensification of cooperation signed

On September 6, 2023, the Deputy Commandant of the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (SWCS), Colonel Charles Burnett and the Director of the Civil-Military Cooperation Centre of Excellence (CCOE), Colonel (GS) Andreas Eckel, signed an agreement on the intent to promote the intensification of cooperation between the CCOE and SWCS.

The agreement primarily covers the fields of instructor exchange, further development of training and courses, exchange on policies, concepts and doctrine development in all Civil-Military Cooperation and Civil Affairs related issues.This agreement is another important step in the right direction and will sustainably strengthen and promote the synchronization of Civil-Military Cooperation and Civil Affairs and underline the excellent already existing mutual cooperation between those two centres.

With this, the US CA , NATO CIMIC and the CCOE come closer together  to promote the inclusion of Civil factors in all military activities.
