Humanitarian Networks & Partnerships Weeks

The CCOE Deputy Director, Colonel Henk Paape, accompanied by two staff officers from the cross-cutting topic team of the Concepts, Interoperability, Capabilities (CIC) Branch, attended the Humanitarian Networks Partnerships Week (HNPW) 2023 from 24 to 28 April in Geneva, Switzerland. 

Held annually in Genevas International Conference Centre,  the HNPW is participated by international audience of over 2000 crisis preparedness and humanitarian response experts from all over the world. With 280 sessions and 51 exhibitions the conference is seen as an unique platform, one of the most significant events of its kind, where high quality conversations are held.

The main focus of the conference is to gather a large variety of humanitarian stakeholders including UN agencies, NGOs, academia, the military, private sector initiatives and ministries to provide a collaborative space in which practitioners and experts share their expertise and best practices, to address shared challenges and strengthen international and national humanitarian response capacities.
