NATO CIMIC LIAISON Satellite Course – Deterrence & Defense in Hungary
The preparation phase for NATO CIMIC LIAISON Satellite Course – Deterrence & Defense in Szentendre - Hungary has now concluded!
This essential training is set to take place at the Hungarian Defence Forces (HDF) - Civil-Military Cooperation and Psychological Operation Centre (HDF CMCPOC), in Szentendre - HUN under the guidance of the CCOE Course Director, Major Francesco Di Giampietro and in collaboration with OF-3 Csaba Szabó, Host Nation Course Director, and OF-1 Tamás SZABÓ Host Nation Course Assistant.
The context for this training aligns closely with real-world scenarios where NATO CIMIC Forces could be called upon for deployment within NATO territory.
The course reflects on the evolving geopolitical realities where collective defence is not just a theoretical concept but an operational imperative.
The instructors from Italy, Poland, The Netherlands and US are looking forward to welcoming a diverse group of 21 highly motivated students representing NATO different Nations. The course participants, both military and civilian, represent and will share their different capabilities and perspectives starting from April 8th 2024.
