We are thrilled to announce the dates for the upcoming Annual CIMIC Foresight Conference 2024 (ACFC24), an annual event dedicated to the future of CIMIC from today’s perspective.
It will take place in The Hague, The Netherlands,
from 07 to 11 OCT 2024.
In light of the continuous dynamics in the security landscape and related changes within NATO, it is crucial to understand the current complex challenges and upcoming changes in the operating environment. A comprehensive understanding of the current and future operating environment is essential for all stakeholders engaged in Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC). Anticipating and adapting to emerging threats, technological advancements, socio-political shifts, and environmental changes is paramount for effective mission planning, coordination, and response. Addressing the complexities of the current and future operating environment proactively enables CIMIC, as a joint function, to better prepare for uncertainty and foster sustainable partnerships with civilian and military actors across various sectors and organizations. Addressing this challenging task constructively and courageously, the ACFC24 promises to be a dynamic and insightful gathering of experts and practitioners in the field of CIMIC expertise.
