UN-CMCoord training course

From 18 to 23 August 2024, CCOE will once again host a Humanitarian Civil-Military Coordination (UN-CMCoord) training course. The delivery benefits from a diverse audience of humanitarian, development, and peace and security actors. By proactively prioritizing inclusivity and reaching out to diverse audiences, the training event creates a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to participate and learn.

The objective of the training course is to:

1. Define the concept of humanitarian civil-military coordination (UN-CMCoord), including the five sets of UN-CMCoord guidance.
2. Assess the UN-CMCoord environnement in operational contexts.
3. Play a key role in supporting UN-CMCoord regarding humanitarian access and protection outcomes.
