Dutch Veterans Day 2023: Honoring and Celebrating the Nation's Heroes

The Dutch Veterans Day in The Hague is an annual event that pays tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Dutch veterans. This year, the event took place in the presence of King Willem-Alexander on Saturday 24 June. However, Veterans Day is not only a day of appreciation for the veterans but a day of celebration for the entire population. Thousands of veterans, soldiers, music bands and historical and modern military equipment could be admired at the impressive and colourful national parade.
