A big step forward – USA joining the CCOE

On Monday the 7th of December 2015 a small delegation from the CCOE was invited to meet together with Major General Daniel R. Ammerman, Colonel (Ret’d) Michael Scout as well as Captain Robert J. Villa. The intent was to talk about future U.S. National Sponsorship at the CCOE. Both sides agreed on a one year U.S. assignment with the purpose to write the requirements for U.S. National Sponsorship. The assignment will start in April 2016. CCOE Director Colonel Roel Been was very pleased and pointed out a big chance for both sides in future cooperation. Major General Daniel R. Ammerman is the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) in Fort Bragg, USA.

The process to win U.S. as new CCOE Sponsoring Nation started many years ago. Additional manpower and the support of the USA will assists the CCOE to fulfil its task and ambition as laid out in Vision 2020.
