Director CCOE attends Military Medicine Exercise “Vigorous Warrior”
The CCOE and the NATO Center of Excellence for Military Medicine (MILMED COE) are strengthening their relationships learning from each other. That is why CCOE Director Colonel Roel Been pays a visit to the MILMED COE exercise “Vigorous Warrior” in Prague, Czech Republic on June 11th, 2015.
Colonel Been also utilizes the international exercise setting to discuss with international partners on the upcoming conference of the NATO Center of Excellence Directors in early October, hosted by the CCOE in The Hague.
Vigorous Warrior (VW) 2015, the bi-annual multinational field exercise of the NATO MILMED COE intends to provide for a unique training opportunity for medical personnel, medical support personal, medical command and control.
The special focus this year is biological defence. The aim of VW15 is to exercise MILMED COE and partner nations’ ability to work together in the decontamination, diagnosis, treatment and evacuation of biological and chemical casualties.
