First NATO CIMIC Functional Specialist Course in 2015
19 students are participating in the Functional Specialist Course which is running at the moment at CCOE. The one week course started on Monday 9th of February. Especially the Dutch 1 Civil Military Interaction Command stationed at Apeldoorn is using this opportunity to raise the knowledge about NATO CIMIC of their reserve officers. This course is supported by syndicate coaches from the Netherlands and the USA.
Guest lecturer from the International Committee of the Red Cross and from the Johanniter are giving the students insights in the modus operandi and their point of view. After this one week course the students will be able to understand the implications of their work within the CIMIC environment.
